The Diversity Den Society and the Pup-n-Cup Family Café & Shop CCC — a social enterprise and non-profit society born from the heart of our community and inspired by one extraordinary young man: Anakin.

​

Anakin is 23, legally blind, and lives with multiple diverse-abilities. He’s also full of determination, talent, and heart. His mom (Elizabeth) and sister (Dierdre) have watched him overcome challenge after challenge — and knew it was time to create a space where people like Anakin don’t just fit in, they belong.

​

That’s why we created the Diversity Den Society, a non-profit dedicated to inclusion, connection, and opportunity for people of all abilities. We also opened Pup-n-Cup Family Café & Shop CCC, a cozy café that helps fund this mission while offering job support and training in a real-world, accessible setting.

​

As we get ready to open our doors, we are offering you an opportunity to support these community inclusion-building initiatives. We're in need of a few important items and contributions to complete our space, kickstart our programming and prepare for additional fundraising events.

• Large stainless-steel garbage can (commercial)

• Branded outdoor sign (vinyl or wood or metal)

• Branded uniform shirts (screen print or embroidery)

• Ice machine (countertop or under-counter)

• Tablet (for accessibility kiosk and POS use)

• Items for volunteer/member draws (small gift cards, treats, or prizes)

• Cash donations of any size are deeply appreciated and will go directly toward:

  • Materials for art, music, and digital literacy programs

  • Volunteer supports, honorariums and accessibility improvement
